Честолюбивый красавец должен отправиться в замок Моррисвилль, где состоится бракосочетание сэра Морриса Ганнибала и леди Кларенс Гамильтон.
Молодой репортер решительно настроен написать хороший материал, и его не пугают даже зловещие угрозы в адрес гостей мероприятия. Наоборот — атмосфера опасности и тайны только подогревает любопытство деятельного журналиста. Детективная интрига приобретает особую остроту, когда из тюрьмы под покровом густого тумана совершает дерзкий побег главарь бандитской шайки Мануэль Диас.
Обаятельный бандит состоит в шокирующе-близких отношениях с будущей хозяйкой замка, и он намерен использовать это обстоятельство в своих грязных корыстных целях.
